Simon Murphy has been appointed as the new Chair of the Coventry LIFT Company, Arden Estate Partnerships, a long-term public private partnership between Community Health Partnerships, Equitix and gbpartnerships. Simon (pictured below) takes over from outgoing Chair, George Marsh, who led Arden Estate Partnerships since its formation.
Simon commented:
“I am honoured to be named as the new Chair for Arden Estate Partnerships. I look forward to bringing my connections, expertise, and knowledge to steer the future of the partnership. George has left a fantastic legacy to build on and wish him all the best on his retirement.”
Mark Grinonneau, Arden Estate Partnerships Board Member commented:
“I am delighted that Simon has joined the Board as Chair, driving the partnership’s work forward in continuing to support NHS recovery plans and forge a collective approach as we build strong and effective Integrated Care Systems. Simon is an experienced and well-regarded senior leader within the health sector, holding positions as Chair of Sandwell Estates Partnership LIFT Company and Deputy Chair of the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. I’d also like to thank George Marsh for his dedication and hard work over the past two decades. Under his leadership Arden Estate Partnerships have delivered a lasting legacy for local communities and contributed significantly to the regeneration of local areas and tackling health inequalities.”
Arden Estate Partnerships works together with NHS and local authority partners across Coventry and Warwickshire to transform the primary and community care health estate. Over the past 20 years the LIFT Company has delivered 5 new high quality integrated health and wellbeing hubs, representing a capital investment of over £34 million in the local area. The investment is facilitating significantly improved access to a greater range of services, often in areas where residents suffer from socio-economic disadvantage including poor health and wellbeing.
