We are looking for two Managing Consultants to join our Consultancy leadership team and support the fast growth of a great team working with Health and Local Authority clients across England to drive real and lasting change.

We will expect you to lead the management and growth of the gbpartnerships consult business in either one of the company’s South West or Central regions. Focusing on client relationships and business development, while providing direction and development opportunities for your regional consulting team.


You’ll be working on a range of stimulating and interesting change and service development projects to support public service clients make a real difference in their communities.

For the last 15+ years, gbpartnerships has worked in partnership with the Health and Local Authority organisations to help maximise estate value and performance.

Our growing Consultancy Team has been supporting our clients in responding to business-critical issues brought about by Covid-19 and continue to help respond to the challenges brought about by the pandemic, along with providing business as usual support to help solve issues and improve business performance.

Our services range from planning how to make best uses of existing space and identifying space surpluses or deficits, providing business case and project management support to implementing change and new ways of working.



Your profile


  • 10 years+ of management consultancy and/or industry experience, particularly in health, social care and local government.

  • A master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in a management discipline (preferably in business administration, strategy, finance, project management or healthcare management), or at least 5 years of senior operational experience in one of these fields.

  • Credible experience of leading complex business advisory assignments and transformation programmes, particularly ones which align with our key capabilities in estates and facilities management, asset management, options appraisals, and business case development and implementation.

  • Experience of managing multi-disciplinary professional teams.

  • Experience of working at / with chief officer and board management level.
