£2,985 of funding has been awarded by the gbpfoundation to the House of Play and Education, a small charity based in Birmingham who work to provide support for children and their parents through recreational activities.
This latest grant from the gbpfoundation, will go towards helping the Charity to deliver two social sessions per week for parents and their children. The sessions will provide an opportunity for parents to share any anxieties they may have around their children returning to school after Covid-19 whilst their children play.
The sessions will also offer breakfast and the chance to identify families that may need food parcels or other support. The grant will contribute towards staff and premise costs, equipment for the sessions, food and some training.
