At the end of last week, gbp colleagues came together with members of the CHP team to support Cash for Kids' Mission Christmas appeal - the UK’s largest Christmas gift initiative. With the goal of brightening the holiday season for thousands of children in need, staff used their volunteering days to make a difference.
Thanks to the coordination of Joanne McGregor and a generous donation from the gbp foundation, the gbp team supported three dedicated volunteering days on November 20th, 21st, and 22nd at The Fort Shopping Park on the outskirts of Birmingham. Employees rolled up their sleeves to sort and pack gifts, ensuring children woke up to a magical surprise on Christmas morning.
The initiative not only provided an opportunity to give back but also fostered teamwork and festive camaraderie among colleagues.
The Mission Christmas appeal is a testament to the power of collective action, and gbp’s involvement reflects our commitment to supporting local communities. Together, the team made a significant impact, ensuring no child goes without a gift this Christmas.
Let’s keep the festive spirit alive as we continue to support initiatives that spread joy and kindness as we move into Christmas.
